Description

This role will work to actively assist in improving the usability, efficiency, and overall effectiveness of our functional Supply Chain and Operations teams. The right candidate will collaborate with users, management, and engineering to develop elegant solutions that solve increasingly complex business problems. This is an amazing opportunity for a developer to be responsible for concept, design, and implementation of both technical and process solutions. You will be responsible for bringing your ideas to life through all stages of development, from initial research, to prototyping, to testing and development. You will need solid software engineering fundamentals — including data structures & algorithms, object-oriented design, and concurrency.

You will collaborate with diverse cross-functional partners, including systems engineers, data scientists, application developers and product managers. Leading software design efforts and analyzing complex business processes to be solved with web and mobile applications and automated systems. Creation and support of scalable web based (APIs) and standalone applications in multiple software platforms. Requirements gathering, database architecting, and systems workflow modeling. Serve as front-end representative and system architect to project manager for overall system flow, design and development. Creation of process documents, flow charts, and work instructions. Predictive Analysis and Data & Systems Reporting. Presenting technical recommendations to Leadership team and championing adoption of technical solutions to business units.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of work experience.
• 3+ years hands-on software development experience across the entire stack.
• Experience with iOS and macOS developing in Swift/Swift UI, XCode or Objective-C.
• Technical utilization of the following technologies: Go, Python, Java, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, HTML 4/5, XML (including XSLT), CSS, Dreamweaver, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Perl.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of open-source technologies and frameworks.
• Understanding of database architecture and relational database management: Filemaker Pro, Access, SQLite, MySQL, Oracle or similar database solutions.
• Hands-on experience in predictive analytics, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel (use of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Macros, etc.).
• Familiarity with front end development and technologies.
• Collaborative mindset with deep attention to detail.
• Experience in handling several complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to approach challenges at a fast pace.
• Interest or experience within supply chain operations, systems and tools.
• Comfortable working with remote employees or international teams a plus.
